Dr Alexandra Sintori

Alexandra Sintori graduated from the department of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development of the Agricultural University of Athens, in 2004. She then attended the “Integrated Rural Development and Management of Rural Space” masters course. In 2012 she completed her doctoral research entitled “Analysis of farmers’ decision making with multiple goals: The case of sheep farmers in Continental Greece”. She has been a research assistant in the Agricultural Economics Research Institute since 2005. In 2015, she completed her post doctoral research entitled “Estimation of the socioeconomic impact of Greenhouse Gas mitigation in Greek dairy sheep and goat farms” that was conducted in the institute. Her main research interests involve management of agricultural enterprises, farmers’ objectives and goals, production cost of agricultural commodities, greenhouse gas  emissions in agricultural production systems and agricultural and environmental policy analysis and impact assessment.
